Welcome. I am Sarah Cearns, the founder of Healing Within, LLC. I am full of hope that drives my passionate work.  I have had my own struggles and trials throughout my life and I can deeply understand how trauma can impact people and their lives.  My heart overflows when I engage in transformative work using innovative and holistic approaches to healing; witnessing people overcome circumstances in order to live the life they want.  I am devoted to providing real and sustainable healing for people.  I want to serve others in the most effective and efficient means as time is precious and limited.

Expertise: Sarah is an eclectic and compassionate practitioner; seeing each person as an individual and utilizing approaches that would best treat them, whether it be a traditional or non-traditional approach that shows to be impactful. She has been involved in the mental health field for over fifteen years and providing psychotherapy since 2016. Beginning in 2019 she became more focused on trauma resolution, transitioning from traditional talk therapy to more unique and innovative approaches that use brain science to clear distressing life experiences; shifting beliefs attached to them. She provides treatment to individuals across the lifespan; everyone between a child to high achieving professionals through, and including, retirees. She builds therapeutic relationships with direct and honest engagement.  Sarah is dedicated to helping people heal, grow, and find beauty in the chaos of life.

Sarah has had an array of experiences working with people and has worked in many different settings with diverse populations. Sarah has also worked with program development, outpatient behavioral health, inpatient mental health as well as with incarcerated individuals. Among her expertise is alleviating struggles related to trauma, depression, anxiety, guilt, relationship problems, addiction, anger, grief/loss, stress, and shame.

I value your motivation to live a different life, internally, and look forward to working alongside you throughout your healing process.
